ITM says: “Pending rename operations found, must reboot before install can continue.”

You can see this problem when installing or updating ITM TEMA (Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Agent) on Windows operating systems. If you are sure that not reboot is needed to your system do the following steps:

Run regedit.exe

Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager

and find the key: PendingFileRenameOperations

Rename this key and save.

Usually when you install an update have to overwrite files that are currently in use, system create key PendingFileRenameOperations to remember itself to change those files at the next startup.
